Thomas Martin

A member of Hg’s Mercury fund, Thomas focuses on software and services investments in the broader legal & regulatory sector. He recently relocated back to London from New York, where he helped open Hg’s US office in early 2019. At Hg, his investments include Bright, Pirum, Litera, Medifox, FE fundinfo, Corepoint (now Lyniate), F24, and Auvesy.

Thomas joined Hg in 2017 from Advent International, and worked previously at McKinsey, both in New York. He holds a BA from the European University of Applied Sciences (EUFH) and a MFin from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Thomas is a native German but worked most of his career abroad in London, New York, and Hong Kong. In his free time, Thomas enjoys riding his road bike and spending time with his family.
