Focus

Thomas focuses on software and services investments in the broader compliance, regulatory and FinTech sector. He is based in London but spends a lot of time in the US, where he helped open Hg’s New York office in early 2019. At Hg, his investments include CUBE, Bright, Pirum, Litera, Medifox, FE fundinfo, Corepoint (now Lyniate), F24, and Auvesy.

Experience

Thomas joined Hg in 2017 from Advent International, and worked previously at McKinsey, both in New York. He holds a BA from the European University of Applied Sciences (EUFH) and a MFin from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Thomas is a native German but worked most of his career abroad in London, New York, and Hong Kong. In his free time, Thomas enjoys riding his road bike and spending time with his family.
