Amr Ellabban

Amr is Head of Hg's Data & Analytics Team.

He joined Hg from the Boston Consulting Group where he worked in the Gamma Advanced Analytics & Data Science team. During his time at BCG, Amr worked on analytics projects for clients across Europe in financial services, retail and industrial goods sectors. Prior to this he worked on retail and services projects in the OC&C Analytics team. Amr started his career as a Lead Data Scientist at VisualDNA (acquired by Nielsen).

Amr is from Egypt. He holds an MEng in Engineering Science and a DPhil in Computer Vision and Machine Learning from Magdalen College, University of Oxford.
