Stefan Schmidtner

Stefan joined Hg in 2019 and focuses on the software and services space in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. He covers the Mercury fund for those regions. Stefan has been involved in the Hg investments into GGW, F24, Trackunit, AUVESY-MDT, Fonds Finanz and LucaNet.

Prior to Hg, Stefan worked in the Principal Investors & Private Equity practice of the Boston Consulting Group. Stefan started his career in commercial banking.

Stefan is from Germany and has a M.Sc. from the University of Mannheim. Further, he completed all three levels of the CFA exam.
