Chris is Partner at Hg, Head of Portfolio Value Creation, and a member of Hg's Senior Leadership Team. He leads our in-house team of operational experts dedicated to driving AI-first transformation across Hg's B2B Tech & Services portfolio, working directly with management teams to shape and accelerate value creation.

Experience

Chris has over 20 years of experience architecting and delivering operational transformations. He established Hg's Data and AI team in 2016, now one of the largest dedicated AI functions in private equity, adding in 2024 Hg Catalyst, a dedicated programme to accelerate agentic product development across the portfolio. Chris joined Hg in 2014 from Boston Consulting Group, where he was part of the Technology and Digital practices working with Furtune50 institutions and high-growth private-equity backed businesses. He started his career in macroeconomic modelling. Chris is a British and German national and holds an honours degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Oxford.
