Luca Smuraglia is a member of the Portfolio Team at Hg.
He specialises in the planning and execution of sales enablement and transformation initiatives that drive rapid and sustainable improvements in sales effectiveness and efficiency.
In his role as an operating partner and sales excellence specialist, Luca has worked with businesses in EMEA, the US, LATAM and SA, ranging from leaders in fast growing markets to challengers in mature ones, across the most diverse industries and solutions portfolios, from intellectual property management to data science and machine learning, from supply chain management to digital advertising, from automated business reporting to life sciences consulting.
Luca’s expertise and approach is grounded in practical, operational experience, having worked for global service providers in the IT and Telecoms space in a variety of roles in sales, professional services and operations. In particular, Luca has held senior sales leadership and general management positions for over a decade, building and leading global sales teams from the ground up to enter new markets, as well as transformed large sales organizations to better compete in mature ones.
Luca has an Executive Certificate in Management Studies from Henley Management College, and a Master in Telecoms and Electronics Engineering from La Sapienza University.
