Dan is the General Manager EMEA at Gainsight, and an Operating Partner for Hg. He is a widely recognised thought leader in the field of Customer Success with a career spanning 30+ years in Silicon Valley.

Customers are Dan’s passion – starting all the way back from his early days as a system engineer at IBM. His career includes being a very early employee at Epiphany, Co-Founder at NearbyNow, and VP of Customer Success at both Mozes and Marketo. Prior to his current role, he held the position of Chief Customer Officer at Gainsight, with ultimate responsibility for the satisfaction and success of the company’s customer base.

Dan is the author of the best-selling business book “Customer Success: How Innovative Companies Are Reducing Churn and Growing Recurring Revenue”.
