The Marketing Manager and a founding member of Hg’s strategic marketing function. Richard joined Hg in 2007 and has helped shape the firm’s marketing communications, content and brand strategy.

With a growing focus on AI-driven communication and the evolving needs of technology-enabled businesses, Richard's work consistently bridges strategy with delivery, helping senior leadership communicate with clarity, impact and consistency across investors, founders, management teams, portfolio companies and employees.

EXPERIENCE

Bringing 25 years of experience in marketing communications, PR, content production, design and copywriting at Hg and formerly Reuters, Citigroup and Tesco, Richard brings a creative edge and refreshed thinking to bear in the continually evolving landscape of technology.

Richard studied English Literature at the University of Leeds and is currently attempting to learn Italian.
