Molly Ryan

Molly is Senior Legal Counsel in the firm’s Legal and Tax team.

Molly focuses on M&A, equity and governance arrangements, and corporate restructurings in North America.  In her role at Hg, Molly advises on transactions for the Hg funds as well as material portfolio company M&A and other portfolio matters. 

Prior to joining Hg in 2022, Molly was a senior associate at Latham & Watkins in New York, where her practice focused on advising private equity funds and public and private companies in connection with mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, carve-outs, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, and other investment activities.  Molly also has prior in-house experience at a financial sponsor focused on infrastructure investments.  From 2016-17, she clerked for Judge Vincent Briccetti of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.  Molly earned her JD magna cum laude and Order of the Coif from Fordham University School of Law, an MSc with merit from the London School of Economics, and a BA magna cum laude from George Washington University.  She is admitted to the bar in New York.
