Hashim Alhakim

Hashim works within Hg's Finance Operations team, where he focus on the day-to-day running of financial processes across the firm's funds and corporate entities, covering payments, reconciliations, expense management, and finance systems.

He joined Hg straight from university (Sep 2022) and has spent the past few years building deep expertise in finance operations, from managing high-volume payment runs and supplier workflows to leading the firm's integration of tools like SAP Concur and NetSuite. More recently, he's taken on a Finance AI Champion role, exploring how AI can make finance teams faster and more accurate, whether that's automating reconciliations, streamlining month-end processes, or helping the wider team get more from the tools Hg already has.
