About me
Andy Sukawaty is a member of the Hg LLP Board and Chairman of Hg US.
He is currently a director of Viasat and of RELX PLC and founding partner of Corten Capital.
He has over 35 years in senior leadership positions in the TMT sector including in wireless, cable TV, technology and satellite where has led four IPO’s. He was CEO of Inmarsat PLC for over two decades and CEO of Sprint (wireless) and NTL Ltd. He was also the Chairman of Ziggo (Euronext), Xyratex (Nasdaq) and Telenet (private Belgium). He was a Director of Sky PLC, O2 PLC and Powerwave Technologies.
He has held advisory roles with Warburg Pincus, Apax and General Atlantic and has managed multiple private equity led buyouts.
He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota (MBA) and the University of Wisconsin.
