Jennifer Hamilton

Jennifer joined Hg in 2019 and is a member of the Mercury team. Her investments include Argus Media, a global provider of data and info services to the energy and commodities sectors, and Benevity, a leading provider of CSR software.

Prior to Hg she spent three years at Bain & Company. There she advised clients on a range of strategy and business transformation projects, primarily in the private equity and industrial practices across Europe and the Middle East. Prior to this she worked as a journalist at BBC Radio 4 and the World Service.

Jennifer holds a PhD in English literature from University College London (UCL) and a BA in English Literature and Language from Worcester College, University of Oxford. She sits on the board of two UK charities: UpReach (partner of the Hg Foundation) and The Reader.
