Partner and Member of the Investment Committee at Hg
Thorsten is a Partner focusing on large-cap software and services investments through Hg’s Saturn Team with a particular focus on the legal & compliance as well as information services space. He sits on the Investment Committee and on the boards of Gen II and A-Plan. His other investments at Hg include Howden Group, Argus Media, Benevity, Cogital, P&I, Citation, JLA, Litera, Radius, and SHL.
He joined Hg in 2011 from Hellman & Friedman, where he worked on European investments. Prior to this he worked for Morgan Stanley and McKinsey.
Thorsten holds a Master of Commerce from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, a CEMS Master in International Management and an MBA with high distinction from Harvard Business School. A native German speaker, Thorsten is also conversant in French.
