Joshua Gielessen

Joshua is a member of the Mercury Team, investing Hg’s small-cap software and services fund. Since joining Hg, Joshua has been involved in Hg’s investments into Geomatikk and LucaNet and is currently a Board Observer at Geomatikk.

He joined Hg in 2020 after moving from Goldman Sachs’ Consumer Retail & Healthcare investment banking team, where he advised clients on M&A and financing transactions.

Joshua holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, where he was a scholar of the German Academic Scholarship Foundation (Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes). He is from Germany and fluent in English and German.
