The origin of itm8 was founded in 2003 (IT Relation), and expanded into itm8.

Itm8 is a leading Danish provider of IT services to private and public industries. Itm8 is the group identity of nine unique and independent companies focusing on collaboration, innovation, development and value creation across the portfolio.

The group’s ambitions are to unlock today’s potential for improvement and to innovate tomorrow’s solutions for transformation with their customers. Together Hg and itm8 more than doubled the size of the business, creating a leading SME technology provider in Europe.

itm8’s services are divided in four business units: Cloud Services, Digital Solutions, Professional Services and Cyber Security Services, and they represent 17 locations in Denmark, Sweden, Philippines and the Czech Republic with approx. 1,100 employees in total.

In May 2022, itm8 was sold to Axcel, a Nordic private equity fund.
