Brian Clute

Brian was recruited to lead the newly established Business Systems and Transformation practice in July 2022. Brian describes the team as “Operational Consultants masquerading as business application specialists” given the need to balance people, process and systems to design optimum operational outcomes.

Prior to joining Hg, Brian led and established similar capabilities at both Serent Capital and Vista Equity Partners so understands the PE landscape and how to scale portfolio companies for rapid growth. Brian brings a global perspective, having worked and lived 10+ years in each the UK, consulting across Europe and Australia, consulting across Asia as both a management consultant and transformation program manager.

Brian holds a BS ENG in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University (US) and an MBA from Loughborough University (UK). He is passionate about solving cross-functional challenges and leveraging technology to drive optimum operational efficiency.
