Tom is the Head of Marketing at Hg. He leads a strategic marketing team with a primary aim to assist Hg’s deal teams with outbound origination and deal transactions, using digital and traditional marketing and communication strategies to target founders, management teams and other sellers of businesses in Hg’s target sectors. Tom also oversees all external communications for the firm.
Previously specialising in private equity and financial services, Tom joined Hg having spent nearly 10 years at the consultancy firm, Maitland. Here he worked with a range of mid to large cap companies – both public and private – with responsibilities including strategic marketing, communications and investor relations advice, planning and implementation. His project work has also included numerous high profile M&A, capital markets, restructuring and shareholder communication situations.
