This year’s forum saw CHROs and senior talent leaders from across Hg’s portfolio come together to discuss the importance of differentiating talent acquisition strategy to remain competitive.

We were lucky enough to interview Kate Glazebrook of Applied to discuss her work on tech-enabled talent acquisition and how it can help in an HR team’s efforts to overcome unconscious bias.

The forum also saw discussions on the role of neurodiversity from Ray Coyle of Auticon and Sir David Walker & Alan Bourne of Sova; the future of work from Haniah Shaukat of Hot Spots Movement; EVP models and employee engagement from Nick Howard of Brunswick and Jon Terry of PwC; and leadership risk in today’s modern business place from Dr David Cooper of Cooper Limon.

The forum discovered that the traditional model of talent acquisition is increasingly ineffective – forward thinking businesses that modernise this process are more likely to succeed over the long term.
