The Sales & Marketing Forum takes place in March, each year.  In 2017 we hosted our third event, over two days, in the historic Grove Hotel in Hertfordshire.

Attended by over 70 executives from the C-Suite, sales, marketing and customer support / success organisations, as well as over 35 guest speakers and members of the Hg team.

In addition to keynote speeches from Fergus Gloster of New Voice Media and Bob Wright of Firebrick, guest speakers included executives at Hubspot, Xura, Turntwo, Velocity Partners and Vast. Topics included brand positioning, how to successfully shift to a recurring revenue model, the future of content marketing, best practices in sales planning and hiring, as well as working sessions and real-life examples from portfolio businesses, discussing how to build a world class sales organisation, best practices in sales forecasting, practical application of data science to marketing, and leveraging the Hg peer community, to drive growth.

What sets our Sales & Marketing Forum apart is the way it forges relationships between Hg portfolio businesses. Like the recent JLA and Citation collaboration, this year’s forum has led to a high demand for more frequent networking opportunities between Hg’s sales & marketing peers, including a recent mid-year catchup in October 2017.
